Events organized by the group

The research group will arrange three symposia (2009, 2010 and 2011) and one conference (2012).

The second symposium, Aesthetics, Art, and Politics, will be arranged
from the 6th of May to the 7th of May 2010 in Helsinki, Finland,
together with the Finnish Society for Aesthetics. The keynote speaker
will be Professor Aleš Erjavec from the University of Ljubljana,
Slovenia.

Call for papers (Finnish and English, pdf)

The first symposium Artification 2009 - Practices took place in
Joensuu, Finland in November 2009. The keynote speaker was Professor Yuriko Saito from the Rhode Island School of Design, USA.
